The homestay programme is finally over! Now,we are at Shin-imamiya, at Raizan South Hotel. Later we will be going to Universal Studio!!!! Woo!!!
Anyway I shall continue from the previous entry. I forgot which day I stopped but I shall talked about sat and sun.
Sat (15/12): My host family brought me to Kurashiki, an old trading port in Edo period. The scenery is very nice. The old buildings still remained and we also visited this 400 yr old building, which was used as a warehouse in the past. Hee... We took many pictures tgt!! After that, we went to this small amusement park, sort of meant for kids. Yeah... I felt so bad coz they had been paying for me all the while. We played all the rides while Otosan stood there and helped us take photos. Haa... During night, Okasan's brother came to find us at the park coz he lives near the area. His children are so cute!! Tomo and Masa I think. Masa is a very 'dao' toddler. He will diao people, except his parents. Haa.... So nice of my host family. I was getting used to them and like them by that time also. But I was still lookig forward to leave coz I still prefer on my own la!!
Sun (16/12): I told them I wanna go shopping coz I wanna go to the 100Yen shop. I thought I was going alone but Okasan, Hisae and Chiaki woke up early to go with me. So nice la! And paid for me again. We went to Sogo for window shopping first. The winter clothes are so stylish and cool! I feel like staying in a winter country so that I can wear those. Haaa... Then, we went to San Mario, a well-known Italian restaurant for pasta and pizza!! Yum! The pasta was really smooth and springy! OMG! DELICIOUS! The garlic bread too! The last place we went was Hondori, something like Bugis street. Okasan left first to do something, so Hisae and Chiaki brought me ard. Without them, I wouldnt have known there is an idol shop (I bought Lee Joon Ki and Oguri Shun:s photo), a bigger 100Yen shop and even 1000Yen shop! The things in 1000Yen shop are nice leh!! I wanna go back to Japan again! We went back at ard 4+ pm coz I hadnt packed my luggage. Once I reached home, I quickly finished the letter meant for my host family. So after dinner, Okasan was very thoughtful to give me heat packs. Haa... Coz I told her we will be going Kyoto and Nara, which are colder than Hiroshima. Touched! I thought it was a good time to give them present and the letter, so I gave them and thanked them for taking care of me. I dont know why usually emotions well up and it will be a little melancholic during this time, even if you dont feel sad at all. Luckily tears didnt came out. Haa... I gave them 4 Jizo monk figurines to represent the 4 of them. They gave me sth in return too! Happy! Okasan and Otosan gave me a scented bag and a 'dont know wat that it'. Pictures when I have loaded into the comp. Hisae and Chiaki gave me a Doraemon handkachief and Oguri Shun's photo!! Yea! I think they bought in the day too. At 830pm, Otosan brought all of us to the meeting place with the rest of my frenz coz we would be taking the night bus to Osaka. Most of my frenz host families were there too! When we were about to leave and started to say byes and all, I was quite shocked to see Chiaki and Hisae crying. Okasan cried a little too. I told them 'no cry'. It was quite saddening to leave them too coz they are really nice people and after all, we had spent a week tgt. Again, I controlled a little coz I din want to cry in front of them. I kept waving to them till I couldnt see them. But I was quite happy to proceed to the next destination la. At least I dont feel I'm imposing on anyone. Hee... We have some sort of a promise- to go Hokkaido tgt someday. Haaa......
That's the whole of the homestay programme :> Oguri Shun's Conan drama just started showing here!!! YEAH!!! Although there is no sub, I'm still happy to catch him on TV! SHUAI!!
